Haliaeetus leucocephalus

Dear inquisitive citizens,

Haliaeetus leucocephalus or more commonly addressed as the American Bald Eagle, is our mighty emblem of strength n’ courage. Benjamin Franklin argued for the turkey as the eagle was a scavenger (no comment there) but it was the fierce nature of the fowl that landed it in the halls of our capital’s icons.
